With smart watches like Samsung Gear or LG G many people seem to be a bit confused on how you actually reset it, so this guide was made specifically to solve that problem! Which means it doesn’t matter which smart watch you have, as long as its running android wear you’ll be able to reset it all the same way!
Factory Resetting your Android Wear
Method 1: Reset with voice controls
- From the home screen say “Ok Google”.
- Followed by saying “Settings”.
- Now scroll down to the Reset Device option and tap it.
- Lastly Confirm to begin the reset.
Method 2: Reset with touch display
- Tap the display to bring up Google Search.
- Scroll down until you Settings option and tap it.
- Now scroll down to the Reset Device option and tap it as well.
- Lastly Confirm to begin the reset.
Your Android Wear device will soon reboot and go into its recovery mode to wipe out all of your personal data. After that it’ll be as good new like when you first got it!
