So you would like to know how to take a screenshot with your brand new Apple iWatch? Don’t worry it’s Easy! If you’ve taken screenshots with your iPhone or iPad before this will be very similar, there isn’t much of a difference so we’ll into it right away!
Taking an Apple iWatch Screenshot
There’s only one way to take a screenshot on the Apple iWatch at this time, here we go.
- First find someone you would like to take a screenshot of or if you just wan’t to practice please continue on!
- Press and hold the power button on the side of your iWatch.
- Now press and hold the digital crown button on the side of your iWatch as well. (It is very important you press and hold the buttons in this order!)
- Within a second you should see the Apple iWatch’s screen flash, or hear a camera shutter! That means you’ve taken your first screenshot!
Locating Your Screenshot
Now that you’ve taken one you probably want to find it right? Well unfortunately you can’t open it up on your iWatch but you can find it on your iPhone as it’s been automatically synced to your iPhone camera roll!
You can find it on your iPhone by opening up the Photos App followed by tapping on Camera Roll. The latest image will be your screenshot!
Remember you can now share this photo as you would with any other photo the same way you would on your iPhone or iPad!
